If you’re looking to find a new fence for Fisk in Gothic Remake, that’s exactly where you should be. Here’s how to quickly find Sharky to do the job.

How to Start A New Fence for Fisk in Gothic Remake

Right off the bat, talk to Fisk in the Old Camp to start the A New Fence for Fisk side quest in Chapter 1. This can’t happen until after you’ve gotten rid of Mordrag during the Out of Sight quest.

Fisk Location in the Old Camp

To find Fisk in the old camp, start from the castle entrance and head east. Follow the path to the large area with a central firepit. He can typically be found sitting in front of his hut in this marketplace area. When you start talking with him, you assure him you’ll easily fix his fence problem. Choose “Relax, I’m sure we can fix this,” to start the side quest.

After that you need to find the right person for the job, which means you’re going to have to take a long walk from the Old Camp to the New Camp to talk with Sharky.

Where to Find Sharky in the New Camp

Now it’s time to travel to the New Camp, which is located in the far west of the game map. (That’s where you can start the Gothic Remake Thirsty Farmers Side Quest.

When you get there, you’re going to see a surprisingly beautiful cave town. Descend into the cave and stick to the left on the lower path until you come across Wedge and a bandit.

A little further ahead on the right, you can see Sharky sitting on a wooden bench. Interact with him and choose the dialogue option “Fisk, from the Old Camp, is looking for a new fence.”

When the conversation is finished, just turn around and make your way all the way back to the Old Camp. Report back to Fisk with the good news that you got the job done.

This officially clears the A New Fence for Fisk side quest in Gothic Remake and rewards you with 300 experience points.

Jason’s journey of countless memorable video game stories began when he was only 8 years old. Most of the time, he would play Mortal Kombat 4 on his PC after school. When night fell, it was time for the original Resident Evil 3 to scare the living daylights out of him. But he wouldn’t trade those good old days for anything. Jason is a minimalist at heart and that translates into his guide writing as well. He likes to break down gameplay mechanics into simpler parts so that the audience can find what they’re looking for in no time.
