Rush to Knockout 007 First Light Move Guide

IO Interactive’s new James Bond origin story is thrilling, but it takes real practice to learn the combat mechanics. If you’re stuck in the Tactical Simulation (TacSim) mode and want to pull off the 007 First Light Rush to Knockout move, you’re certainly not alone. The game’s early tutorials can be ambiguous at times. With that being said, here’s the 007 First Light Rush to Knockout move guide.

How to DO Rush to Knockout in 007 First Light

There are three ways to do this. The easiest way to get a Rush to Knockout is to find a short wall or barrier. Press and hold the rush button to push the enemy over the ledge for an instant finish.

For another method, you first need to weaken your target in close-quarters combat until their health is almost gone. Instead of just tapping the grab button, press and hold it down. This makes Bond grab the enemy and charge forward. Keep holding the button and slam the enemy directly into a wall or a solid obstacle. The impact triggers an instant knockout to clear the challenge.

The third way: approach an enemy near a ledge. Press the rush button while holding the direction towards them to literally rush into them and push both of you off the edge. This completes the Rush to Knockout as well as the Rush Over an Edge challenge.

If the training challenges get too frustrating and you just want to go back to the story, you might not know how to do it. The game automatically transitions you into TacSim during the campaign, but it doesn’t give you a clear exit button to get back out. Jason’s journey of countless memorable video game stories began when he was only 8 years old. Most of the time, he would play Mortal Kombat 4 on his PC after school. When night fell, it was time for the original Resident Evil 3 to scare the living daylights out of him. But he wouldn’t trade those good old days for anything. Jason is a minimalist at heart and that translates into his guide writing as well. He likes to break down gameplay mechanics into simpler parts so that the audience can find what they’re looking for in no time.
