Dead as Disco Windmill Guide: How to Do the Windmill Move

One of the most talked-about moves in Dead as Disco is the Windmill. This move allows you to spin into action and launch staggered enemies sky-high. However, it can get a little bit tricky when you want to perform this highly sought-after move. Now let’s see how to do the Windmill in Dead as Disco.

Dead as Disco Spin Move Input

To do the spin move in Dead as Disco, you have to physically make Charlie spin around. First things first, hold down your attack button to charge it. On keyboard, while holding down the attack button, quickly tap your movement keys in a circle (W-A-S-D or W-D-S-A) a few times just to be safe. Once he’s spinning, let go of the attack button.

The same goes if you use a controller. Hold the heavy attack button, then roll your movement joystick in a full circle and release.

This 360-degree spin makes Charlie jump into a breakdance. As soon as the dance ends, any staggered enemies nearby will be launched high up into the air. The Windmill sets up the perfect opportunity for an aerial finisher. In order to do that, we need a takedown ready. This is shown by a skull icon you earn from defeating regular enemies.

You can see the skull icon in the upper left corner of the screen. Use your Windmill to knock a staggered enemy upward and then hit your finisher button while they’re airborne.

Be warned, though. This combo can be quite tricky to nail down. You might make a mistake and end up just hitting the airborne enemies with normal combo attacks instead. But when you finally pull it off, it looks super duper cool.
