How to Solve the Blind to the World Statue Puzzle in Where Winds Meet

To solve the Where Winds Meet Statue Puzzle, you need to step on the big plate near Uncle Tian. Then, when the four smaller plates appear, step on the northern one behind the statue and step on the rest in a clockwise direction. Scroll down for more details and pictures of the solution.

Where Winds Meet Statue Puzzle Solution

The statue puzzle, also known as the lake puzzle, is the first puzzle in the Blind to the World quest. Once you drain the lake, the massive Moon Goddess statue appears. First, walk to the main pressure plate near Unfated Tian to activate the puzzle. (See the picture below)

Now, four smaller pressure plates will appear around the strange Blind Girl statue. If you ask Uncle Tian for a hint, he will tell you that he thinks the plates represent north, east, south, and west.

The puzzle’s solution is to start with the north plate, which is directly behind the statue’s back. Keep walking to the remaining pressure plates in a clockwise direction (to your left when facing the statue). (Check the picture below)

Note: You can step on a plate twice, which will mess up your sequence. So be careful with your steps.

Wrong Order: If you step on the wrong plate, a trap will be activated and shock you. Then, you may have to start over or even be forced back to the last checkpoint on higher difficulties.
Right Order: If you step on the plates in the correct order, you will hear a brief melody, and a stone cave door will open nearby. Congratulations! You have solved the Blind to the World lake puzzle. It is time to go through the door and deeper into the shrine.
