Lucid Blocks Crafting

Lucid Blocks Crafting (Apotheosis) is one of the main mechanic in the game. The Apotheosis system does not rely on fixed recipes. You do not follow a strict list of ingredients. Instead, you combine items and let their properties interact.
Each fusion creates a result based on the essence inside the items. The outcome may change if you adjust the ingredients. This system rewards curiosity and experimentation. Which we All Love in a game like this.
Yes, the crafting system in Lucid Blocks is not simple. There are a lot of tips and details about it. Want to master it? Read my experience here word by word.

The Role of Essence Properties
In Lucid Blocks game, every item actually carries essence properties. These properties influence the final result during fusion.
When several items share similar essences, the system tends to create stronger or more predictable outcomes. Mixed essences may create rare or unusual items.
These unnatural Items are sometimes very surprising. What was a unique one you’ve created? I’m curious about it, really. Will you share it in the comments?
Input Limits and Fusion Mechanics
The Apotheosis system allows up to six items in one fusion. Obviously, a small number of items leads to simpler results. More items increase complexity and variation.
Each item contributes its essence to the fusion pool. The system analyzes these properties and selects a matching result.
Too many unrelated items may produce random or weak outcomes. Balanced combinations usually work better (yeah, creativity has limitations, even in this game!)
Start with small experiments. Add more materials once you understand how essences interact.
A Quick Crafting Guide
Start Lucid Blocks crafting with simple materials from the environment. Break blocks and collect plants. These early resources help you test the fusion system.
Common starter items include sticks, stones, basic minerals and organic materials. Try different combinations to see how the system reacts.
Do not worry about mistakes at this stage. Early crafting works best as exploration. The game actually wants you to explore and experiment.
Do this step by step if you are confused:
- Gather basics (sticks, dirt, logs, stones, wool or string from mannequins).
- Craft Wooden Pick variants.
- Upgrade to better tools.
- Make mobility (Bee Glove) and basic weapons.
- Experiment with blocks for building.
Crafting Basic Tools and Survival Items
Basic tools help you gather resources faster. Use simple materials to create early gear.
Combine sticks with minerals to form tools. These tools allow faster block collection and resource gathering. Some fusions also produce utility items.
Survival items often appear from practical combinations. Focus on items that improve mobility, mining speed or combat ability.
The fact is that there is no fixed recipe for tools in this game. Each experience is unique so I just tell you the overall rules.
The Core Item Concept & the Dilution Trick
Once you’ve experimented a bit, two advanced techniques will dramatically improve your crafting efficiency.
Every Recipe Has a “Core”
Most fusions revolve around one main item that acts as the foundation. Everything else is a modifier. For example, Stick is the most common core item early on. It’s the base for Wooden Pick, Leaf Pick, Azrael, and many others. Once you understand this, the system stops feeling random. You’re not just combining items blindly; you’re building off a foundation item.
The Dilution Trick: More Output for Less
For many recipes, you only need one or two core components to dictate the final item. You can then fill the remaining slots with cheap, low-tier blocks (like dirt, sand, or pebble blocks) to artificially increase the quantity of the final product you receive. This works for blocks, basic tools, and components, but it does NOT work with high-tier items, artifacts, or tools.
Example: If a recipe normally gives you 1 Cabinet, adding extra dirt blocks to the empty slots might give you 3 Cabinets instead. This is huge for mass-producing storage and building blocks.
Combining Both Concepts
- Identify the core item (usually Stick, Aluminum Block, or Tungsten Appendage).
- Add the required modifier (e.g., Dirt Block for Wooden Pick, Wool for Feather).
- Fill remaining slots with cheap filler to boost output quantity.
- Profit.
Block Crafting and Building
Fusion does not only create tools or gear. It can also produce new block types. These blocks help shape your world. Combine structural materials such as stone and clay type items and these fusions create building blocks.
Different materials lead to different textures or shapes. Some blocks may have unusual patterns or colors. Test many combinations to expand your building options. Comparing to minecraft, I’d say that this one is less about building. Lucid Blocks game is mostly about crafting items to fight or flight (This is just a personal opinion, may change after playing a bit more).
Summoning Companions via Fusion
Certain fusions may create living companions. These creatures appear when organic materials mix with magical essence. Some examples are Bubblebears, Kodama and Fruit Femmes. Each companion has a unique look and behavior.
Some companions may follow you in the game or interact with the environment. In the run, they can be very helpful. Anyway, I like to create such things in dark and deep games. In the strange world of Lucid Blocks it’s a good idea to have some company.
Tips and Tricks
Playing so far, I’ve written some tips for myself and now I’m sharing them here, Hope they help:
- Avoid Bad or Useless Fusions. Random combinations often lead to weak or useless items. Avoid mixing too many unrelated materials.
- Choose ingredients with similar essence when you want stable results. If a fusion fails, remove one item and try again.
- Small changes often fix a bad combination.
- Manage Inventory for Efficient Experimentation Keep your inventory organized. Store materials by type or essence when possible.
- Carry a few reliable items for testing. Sticks, minerals, energy materials work well for many fusions.
- Clear space before large experiments. This habit helps you track results and avoid confusion.
Start with small experiments. Observe results and adjust the ingredients.
Lucid Blocks Crafting, What We Know
The Lucid Blocks crafting system focuses on experimentation and discovery. Instead of strict recipes, the Apotheosis system allows flexible combinations of materials. Essence properties guide the results. Careful selection of items leads to useful things.
Start with simple fusions and learn how different materials interact. With practice, you will create stronger items and unlock rare results
Very Important Note: This game is a newly released title and this text is based only on my limited experience so far. I will gradually expand it with more detailed information.
FAQs
Do I need recipes to craft items?
No. The system does not rely on fixed recipes. Results depend on the materials and their essence.
How many items can I fuse at once?
You can combine up to six items in one fusion.
Why do I get random results?
Random results appear when materials have very different essence properties. Try more balanced combinations.
Can I create creatures through fusion?
Yes. Organic materials and magical essence may produce companions or strange life forms.
What is the best way to learn the system?
Start with small experiments. Observe results and adjust the ingredients.
