Deep Dish Dungeon Corn Guide: Where to Find More

Cooked your last corn before figuring out the golden-door puzzle? Before you give up on the run, there is another growing area worth investigating.
There are multiple ways to get Deep Dish Dungeon corn. However, I tested two of them, which are more useful than others by far. If I were you, I would check those passages before making another trip back to an empty chest.
How to Get More Corn: Quick Answers
- Route 1 goes through the gap above the large wooden door in the main hall (use your Grappling Hook).
- Route 2 goes through the sewers, past the iron bars (Hammer) and the roots (Axe).

Where to Get More Corn in Deep Dish Dungeon
Head back to the main hall containing the campfire. Find the large wooden door in the wall with the nail and rope, then look above it.
The opening over the door is the detail to watch for. In this route, use your Grappling hook to pass through that gap. On the far side, look for a lever on the floor and the corn-growing area. Make sure you have identified the correct door before searching overhead.

Reaching the Deep Dish Dungeon Corn Area Through the Sewers
The sewer direction involves an Azurea Mushroom. Hold it to reveal an arrow pointing upward on a wall, then investigate that section for the passage. There are some iron bars you have to break with a hammer. You will also need an Axe for the roots farther along.
There is also an opening in the ceiling above the jammed door. Look near the section where you drained the water to gain access to the sewers.
Does Corn Grow Back?
I saw in the game that corn can be regrown in the area beyond roots, accessible from the sewers. You can check there regularly for more corn. However, there is a catch that I should warn you.
I cannot verify the exact respawn time of corn. There is also no guarantee that the chest containing your earlier supply will refill. I would not spend time waiting beside that chest based on an assumed timer. Searching for the growing area gives you something more useful to try.

The Role of Corn in Golden Door Puzzle
The bat-room golden-door solution includes Cooked Veggies, which use corn. The ingredient combinations for the puzzle’s offerings are as follows:
| Offering | Ingredient Combination |
|---|---|
| Cooked Veggies | Corn + Wild Pepper + Tomato |
| Stew | Raw Meat + Wild Pepper |
| Bean Soup | Black Beans + Black Beans |
My advice is to reserve some corn for Cooked Veggies before using the rest in other meals. That leaves you with the ingredient you need when you return to the door.
Corn Gem: A Collectible
The Corn Gem is a separate collectible, not the ordinary corn you are looking for. It has its own achievement, and possessing it does not mean you have found the cooking ingredients.
Keep that in mind: A route to the Corn Gem answers a different question than where to gather more corn for a meal.
