Why Can Players Access Canto 10 So Early?
I get why you might be confused. Canto 10 was made available much earlier than previous story chapters. According to Project Moon director Kim Jihoon, if you beat Canto 1, you have access to Canto 10. But if you haven’t completed Canto 1, you’ll get a spoiler warning when you want to jump straight into Canto 10.
The goal here was to let new Managers experience Canto 10’s new gameplay style without making them first complete the entire story.
What Happens in Canto 10 Ending A: Ataraxie?
By the 10-4 Ending, you certainly have questions about what the deal is with Carmen and Le Noir and what Asymptotic and Convergent really mean. In the end, Le Noir wins because the Crimson God gets defeated, so Grand Magasin Sisyphe doesn’t get destroyed or transformed. Instead, it becomes locked into the same state forever. Simple as that.

For asymptotic and convergent, my interpretation is that I can see Carmen’s explanation as an argument that Grand Magasin Sisyphe’s current state is so close to death that the difference between the two becomes literally meaningless. Although, Dante simply doesn’t believe it and says being similar to death doesn’t mean it’s the same as being dead.
That wasn’t all. I believe the reason why Faust lost access to Gesellschaft was that Gesellschaft may have hidden information about what would happen after siding with Le Noir, leaving Faust unaware until it was too late. Then again, it’s purely my interpretation.
Limbus Company Canto 10 Ending B: Is It Real?
Currently, there’s no definite answer to that. So far, everyone and their mother who’s finished Limbus Company Canto X seems to have reached one ending only, which is called Ending A: Ataraxie. This begs the question: is there Ending B or maybe even Ending C out there? This brings us to the fact that a lot of players are actively searching for Canto 10 Ending B specifically.
Ending B and Ending C may even represent future developments of the story rather than currently available alternate routes. Who knows?
Well, there’s some logic to it if you think about it. Maybe in an alternate reality, we could’ve sided with Le Rouge or found a middle path between the two factions.
Can Your Choices Change the Canto 10 Ending?
I’ve seen a lot of people on Reddit and whatnot wondering whether their decisions could alter the outcome of Canto 10. So they did a lot of stuff like attacking NPCs or trying different interactions to find different results.
After all is said and done, we can see the events of Limbus Company aren’t set in stone. For instance, from what I’ve gathered and understood so far, if you kill any named NPC, you get Reditus Aeterna, including the furniture, but I can’t say for sure if it also happens after you’re done with their quests. The same happens with Fate Lost.
At the end of the day, it seems Ending A: Ataraxie is the only ending you can reach in Canto 10. I just talked about the possibility of Ending B or Ending C and why we all believe they might exist, but there’s still no confirmed way to unlock another outcome. We’ll have to wait and see what Project Moon has planned next.
Until then, Canto 10 remains one of Limbus Company’s most mysterious chapters, leaving us with more questions than answers.
