Where to Get Coarse Fur in Echoes of Aincrad

In Echoes of Aincrad Coarse Fur is one of those materials that sounds easy to find until you actually go looking for it. The short answer: it drops from spiders, flying insects, plant monsters, and elite versions of these enemies drop it far more often than regular ones. If you want a reliable farming spot instead of hoping for random drops, there are two cave quests I have covered. Here’s where to go.
What You’ll Read:
Which Enemies Drop Coarse Fur in Echoes of Aincrad
Three enemy types drop it: 1. spiders, 2. flying insects like wasps, 3. plant monsters. Regular versions can drop it, but don’t count on it. Elite versions of all three are the best source, and you’ll have way better odds of walking away with more than one per kill.
If you’re just exploring and stumble into a nest of spiders or a patch of plant monsters, kill the elites first and check your inventory before moving on. But if you actually want to farm this on purpose instead of hoping RNG cooperates, you’re better off running a specific quest, which we’ll talk about next.

Best Quests to Farm Coarse Fur
Farming random spider or wasp spawns works, but it’s slow. These two cave quests below are the most consistent way to stack up Coarse Fur, and there’s a third option if you’d rather fight the source enemies directly.
Dawning Fear
You probably do this cave quest for the Tempered Steel as the clear reward, but another reason to run it is the Coarse Fur. This quest drops at least three Coarse Furs per run, enough to treat it as a proper farm route instead of a one-off.
Tit for Tat
Same deal as Dawning Fear. This is another cave quest that reliably hands over three or more Coarse Fur once cleared. Alternate between these two and you’ll rack up a solid stockpile without much wasted time.
Secret Medicine of the Forest
Some players know this one as the “sick girl” quest. You fight against spiders and wasps and even plant monsters directly. So instead of hoping a cave quest’s loot table cooperates, you’re farming the actual drop source itself. It’s worth checking out if Dawning Fear and Tit for Tat aren’t helpful.
That’s how you get Echoes of Aincrad Coarse Fur. Do you any other way? Let me know in the comments below.
