Coen is the main character of The Blood of Dawnwalker and he’s voiced by Will de Renzy-Martin. Coen is a young man forced to face the harsh realities of life, but his world turns upside down when he becomes a Dawnwalker and gains supernatural abilities.

Will de Renzy-Martin is known for his work in games like Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader and Warframe: The Old Peace. This is one of his biggest leading roles in a video game so far.

Brencis Voiced by Andrew James Spooner

Andrew James Spooner voices Brencis, the Knyaz of Vale Sangora, who is one of the most important characters in The Blood of Dawnwalker. As the ruler who took control of the valley alongside his three vrakhir boyars, Brencis presents himself as a savior.

However, there’s more than meets the eye. Spooner’s performance brings life to one of the game’s central figures, whose rule over Vale Sangora puts him directly against Coen.

Lacra Voiced by Megan Smart

Lacra is voiced by Megan Smart in The Blood of Dawnwalker. Unlike many vrakhiri who serve Brencis, Lacra is hellbent on eliminating the Knyaz himself when she arrives in Vale Sangora. Her mysterious motives and connection to the vrakhir conflict make her one of the more intriguing characters in the game’s story for sure.

Megan Smart has played Amelia in the Class of ’07 TV series and Samara Kahlil in Black Snow.

Anca Voiced by Helen Keeley

Helen Keeley provides the voice of Anca, one of the closest people in Coen’s life. She’s always been by his side and helping him see beyond what’s written. However, as Coen’s journey unfolds, it becomes clear that Anca is hiding secrets of her own, which make her character even more mysterious.

Helen Keeley has brought to life Nightsong in Baldur’s Gate III and Lorai in the Blacktalon TV series.

Marat Voiced by Colin Ryan

Marat is voiced by Colin Ryan in The Blood of Dawnwalker. As the leader of the rebellion against the vrakhiri, Marat inspires loyalty among his followers, but at the same time, he’s so hesitant to trust anyone in his circle. Marat is at the center of the resistance against Brencis’ rule over Vale Sangora.

Colin Ryan has done some amazing voice work in the past, including Alphinaud in Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail and Apollo in Hades II.

Xanthe Voiced by Mandi Symonds

Mandi Symonds voices Xanthe, the boyaress who controls the southeastern parts of Vale Sangora. She provides, let’s say, supernatural advantages for Brencis’ army. She does these crazy experiments and whatnot to strengthen the Blood Guard.

Despite serving a younger vrakhir, Xanthe has lived in the valley for centuries long before their time, which makes you question her true motives for supporting Brencis.

Mandi Symonds is a veteran actress who, in recent years, has played some roles in podcast series like Brainy Betty in Doctor Who: The Ninth Doctor Adventures. Her older famous works include the roles of Ava in the 1993 movie U.F.O. and Mac in the 1982 movie Scrubbers.

Ambrus Voiced by Lorne MacNaughton

Ambrus is voiced by Lorne MacNaughton in The Blood of Dawnwalker. As the youngest vrakhir in Vale Sangora, who somehow still genuinely enjoys the company of humans, Ambrus manages the supply of human blood for Brencis and his allies. This makes him a more complicated figure within Brencis’ regime.

Lorne MacNaughton is famous for Jellybean in the Mumfie TV series and Rory in The Nest TV mini-series.

Bakir Voiced by Dai Tabuchi

Dai Tabuchi voices Bakir, the ruler of southwestern Vale Sangora and one of Brencis’ vrakhir allies. Bakir is a barbarian known as the Mad Khan who takes control of his foes through fear and punishment. As an experienced warrior with a taste for cruelty, Bakir represents one of the most dangerous forces standing against those who oppose Brencis.

Dai Tabuchi has appeared as an advisor in the 2013 movie 47 Ronin and the businessman in the 2015 James Bond movie Spectre.
