How to Wear a Trapper Hat in RDR2
There are two simple ways to wear a Trapper hat in RDR2. The first way is to equip it while visiting the Trapper himself. Select any hat you’ve crafted and simply press Enter (PC) to equip it.
The other way is by renting a room anywhere in the game. Go to the wardrobe and when the Change Clothing prompt appears, select it. Now select Hats and press E (PC) to get to the crafted hats menu.
From there you can select whatever hat you’ve crafted and press Enter (PC) to to equip it.
How to Equip Hat Accessories in RDR2
Just like the Trapper hats, you can equip the Trapper hat accessories in two simple ways. The first way is to equip any of them while visiting the Trapper.
The other way is even simpler. Just rent a room in a hotel anywhere in the game. Go to the wardrobe and when the Change Clothing prompt appears, select it. Select Hats. Under the Owned Hats section, select Arthur’s Gambler Hat. Now you can select any accessories you’ve unlocked.
FAQ
Can you equip RDR2 hat accessories on any hat?
Unfortunately, no. The Trapper hat accessories can only be equipped on Arthur’s Gambler’s Hat. They can’t be used on any other hats in the game.
