Life Is Strange Reunion How to Save Everyone

Saving everyone in Life Is Strange Reunion requires a meticulous set of actions. You need to stop the fire from happening, accuse Vinh as Max, and choose a specific set of dialogues when talking to Safi in the observatory. But there is much more to do if you want to learn how to save everyone. So keep reading and don’t miss out on any detail.

How to Stop the Fire?

You can save most (not all) characters by preventing the main campus fire. To do so, you need to know who to accuse, as the following:

1. Accuse Ren as Chloe at the Snapping Turtle. Then, report him right away to the security guard, Noelle. This early warning will cause Noelle to stop Ren before he can start the fire.

2. Accuse Vinh as Max after talking to Yasmin. This will allow you to track him and prevent his planned explosion. Scroll down to learn how.

Doing this will save characters like Owen and Loretta, but there are more actions to take if you wish to save everyone.

Read Who Started the Fire guide to learn who the arsonist is in different timelines.

How to Save Loretta and Owen

Just like I mentioned in the previous section, if you prevent the fire, Loretta and Owen don’t need to be saved.

Saving Loretta

If the fire breaks out, Loretta will be trapped in the admin building. You can find her in the small library in front of Vihn’s office. To reach her, you’ll need the trophy case key from Vinh’s desk. Find Vinh’s trophy on the third shelf from the bottom and break the library door’s lock with it.

Speaking through the door, you’ll need to rewind a couple of times to convince her to stay put so you can get her out safely.

Saving Owen

Unfortunately, if you don’t prevent the fire, Owen dies trying to save students from the fire. So if you wish to save “Everyone”, focus on preventing the fire from happening in the first place.

How to Save Vinh

Even if you stop Ren from starting the fire, Vinh causes his own death when he tries to blow up the Abraxas house.

To save Vinh, you should first accuse him as Max after meeting with Yasmin, and before all of this happens. In that case, Max will run into Reggie, who tells her that “somebody” was spotted on Fremont Street just shortly before the start of the protests.

On the night of the fire, you needed to have stopped Ren from starting the fire as we talked about earlier. Otherwise, you’ll be too engaged in his arson to pay attention to Vinh’s. Now you are free to track him down and save him from the explosion in Abraxas house.

How to Save Safi

Safi has her own separate crisis you need to deal with. Regardless of Ren burning down the campus, Safi unintentionally starts a fire on her own in the observatory when she drops her cigarette in a wastebasket. You need to stop that from happening to save Safi.

Before anything else, make sure Max tells Safi about the fire, and NEVER accuse her of it. After that, it all depends on the scene where Max waves at Chloe from the ground and indicates that they should meet in Moses’ office in the observatory.

Once Chloe starts conversing with Safi in the Office, you must pick the specific dialogue sequence below to save her. Otherwise, she will light a cigarette to calm her nerves from what you told her. After smoking, she’ll drop it into the wastebasket, which causes the fire that eventually leads to her demise.

Saving Safi Dialogue Options

Choose the following dialogue sequence when talking to Safi as Chloe in the observatory:

1. “I’m sorry.”

2. “Max loves you.”

3. “She told you about the fire.”

4. “You’ve been hurting since Maya died.”

5. “She knows you can do better.”

6. “Fine. Let’s be bastards.”

Read the Chloe Backtalk guide to get the results you want in each encounter.

How to Save Jeannette and Noelle

These two characters’ lives are interconnected, and their rescue mission happens in the same scene.

Right after the scene between Safi and Chloe, you as “Max” should examine the noticeboard near the stairs leading to the observatory. On the board, you will find a tutoring flyer that informs you that Jeannette is currently inside the observatory.

Now, find the Custodian and talk to him about the water valves. This will let you open his closet from which you should pick up the mask. Not long after that, you will run into Noelle near the closet’s area. Give her that mask and warn her that Jeannette is trapped in the observatory.

You’ll need the flyer to alert Noelle, and she’ll need the mask so she doesn’t suffocate from the smoke.

Pro-tip: Turn on the sprinklers in the Custodian’s closet and open all three valves. This will get you the “Super Max” achievement.

How to Save Anthony the Poet

You may overlook saving Anthony in the hustle and bustle of saving everyone else. Fortunately, he is easy to save. Remember the Custodian’s closet I mentioned in the previous section? Besides the mask to save Noelle, grab the heavy wrench inside the closet as well.

Now, rush to the front of the Caledon building and break the jammed door with the wrench. If you leave the Wrench behind, you cannot smash this door and save Anthony from the fire.

In the final scene, check out the wall at the Snapping Turtle. If you see a “Wall of Heroes” (like the article’s main image) that means you saved everyone. If you see a memorial, you need to reload that checkpoint and try again.

FAQ

How do I stop Ren from burning down the campus?

To stop the fire before it begins, accuse Ren while playing as Chloe at the Snapping Turtle, and immediately report him to Noelle, the security guard.

How do I keep Safi from starting the observatory fire?

First, have Max warn Safi about the blaze without accusing her. Then, when playing as Chloe in the office, choose the correct dialogue sequence so Safi doesn’t nervously drop a lit cigarette into the wastebasket.

What items do I need from the Custodian’s closet?

You need to grab the mask to give to Noelle so she avoids smoke inhalation, and you must also take the heavy wrench to smash the Caledon building’s jammed door to rescue Anthony.

How do I know if I successfully saved everyone?

Check the wall at the Snapping Turtle during the final scene. Seeing a “Wall of Heroes” confirms your success, but a memorial means you’ll need to reload a checkpoint and try again.
