Control Resonant Breaker Enemy: Location & Command Guide

The Control Resonant Breaker enemy requirement sounds simple until you realize the game never politely points at something and says, “Yep, that’s the Breaker.” You need one for the Psychic Domination achievement, which asks you to Command a Breaker enemy.

Fortunately, you have more than one valid target. Both the Hiss Transporter and Hiss Ruiner qualify, and you can find them in Central.

What Is a Control Resonant Breaker Enemy?

Breaker isn’t the name of one specific Hiss. Instead, enemies such as the Hiss Transporter and Hiss Ruiner count as Breakers for Psychic Domination.

The Hiss Transporter is the corrupted bus-type enemy that deploys drones. You’ll encounter it around Central, including during Hold the Line World Events. The Hiss Ruiner is another valid Breaker. It’s the massive flying Hiss that attacks with bombs and lasers, so identifying this one isn’t exactly the difficult part.

Where to Find a Breaker Enemy in Control Resonant

If you’re already exploring Central, keep an eye out for a Hiss Transporter, especially during a Hold the Line event.

For a more specific option, a Hiss Ruiner can appear east of the Patterned Factory in Central. Either works for Psychic Domination, so there is no need to hunt for one particular Breaker if the other is already trying to kill you.

How to Command a Breaker for Psychic Domination

First, you need the Command Combat Ability, and you can obtain it through The Unknown Resonant. Then you need to defeat enemies until you have three Command charges. Approach a normal Breaker until the purple Command indicator appears, then press Up on the D-pad. Successfully taking control of it unlocks Psychic Domination.

If you’re only after the achievement, avoid an Apex Hiss Ruiner. A normal Breaker can be Commanded with three charges, while the Apex version requires more, adding extra work for no real benefit.
