Chop Chop Inc Battery Guide: How to Craft It

I was enjoying Chop Chop Inc until I saw people in gaming communities getting confused about some of its systems. One of the biggest points of confusion is batteries.
Don’t know how to craft them? You need to build an Electronics Press (game also calls it Electro Juicer) first. Once you have it, the recipe is simple: 1 Metal Ingot + 4 Electric Woods. Don’t know how to build Electronics Press? I’ll explain the steps in the text.

That’s it. And why do you need them? The main uses are for recharging the Eternal Spinner and for building the Tech Bridge.
All You Need:
What Even Are Batteries?
Batteries are a mid-game crafting material. As mentioned above, you make them on a special machine called the Electronics Press. You don’t need them early game.
Tip: One of the most common problems players run into is the mission sequence. To unlock the recipe for the Electronics Press (and therefore be able to make batteries), you first need to build an elevator that reaches the world above (the dark, magical area where Harold’s house and other talkable ducks live). Then you should finish the mission related to Harold and continue playing.
Harold’s mission is about collecting some specific kinds of mushrooms for his wife to cook the meal. The main meal gonna be a duck! Cannibalism!

How to Unlock the Electronics Press
To build the Electronics Press, you need the recipe. The recipe paper will appear next to the Eternal Spinner, but many players miss it. Here’s the exact sequence to get it:
- After completing the mission related to Harold, you’ll see that they’ve cooked another duck (Luis) and plan to cannibalize him. Grab the cooked duck and run away immediately, Harold will shoot you if you stay.
- Take the cooked Luis to the duck cult.
- Talk to Walter. He tells you to put Luis’s remains in his rightful place. The Spinner decides for him.
- Luis will come back to life.

After Luis is alive again and talks to you, you can pick up the recipe that sits next to the Eternal Spinner. This is the step a lot of players miss and waste a lot of time on.

According to the recipe, to build an Electronics Press you need:
- 8 Piles of Screws
- 20 Metal Ingots
- 2 Hamsters

Build the Electronics Press next to the Furnace. After that, you can craft as many batteries as you want. One is enough for the Spinner. In later missions, the game will tell you exactly how many batteries you need. So, don’t waste your resources randomly,
Final Words about Batteries
You don’t need batteries early game in Chop Chop Inc. Yes, the recipe appears in the list from the beginning, but that doesn’t mean it’s useful early on.
Wait until the game asks you to build the Electronics Press. Besides powering the Spinner, batteries are also needed for other progression steps, such as building the Tech Bridge.

Whenever you need a battery for any reason, just go to the Electronics Press and craft one. That’s it.
