How to Get and Use the OSRS Immaculate Mole Skin

The OSRS Immaculate Mole Skin is the newest drop from the Giant Mole and the final piece you need to max out your gem storage. Here is exactly how to get it, what it does and how the new Giant Mole private instances work.

Before continuing, I recommend reading my OSRS Leagues 6 Guide to learn everything you need to know about the Demonic Pacts.

What is the Immaculate Mole Skin in OSRS?

The Immaculate MoleSkin is an untradeable, members-only item. You cannot equip it, stack it or note it. If you examine the item, the text reads: “The immaculate skin of a large mole.” It has a base value of 400 coins.

You get this item as a tertiary drop from the level 230 Giant Mole with a 1/50 drop rate. Because it is a tertiary drop, it rolls entirely separate from the standard loot table. You get one skin per successful drop.

How to Get the Immaculate Mole Skin

To get the Immaculate Mole Skin easily, I recommend paying for a Private Instance so you don’t have to fight over it with other players. There is also a specific tile you can stand on during the fight to avoid any damage.

New Giant Mole Private Instances

The Giant Mole caves are packed right now because everyone wants this new item. So Jagex added a private instance to handle the crowds. Here, you can kill him in private without having to fight for the kill with other players. However, you still need a spade to dig the mole hills in Falador Park and enter the cave. Here is what it costs to start a private fight:

The Melee Safe Spot

Players already found a safe spot to avoid the mole’s melee attacks. You drag the boss to a specific tile and shoot it without taking any damage. Check the picture below for the exact tile.

How to Use the Immaculate Mole Skin OSRS

The main reason you want the Immaculate Mole Skin is to max out your gem storage. But you can sell it if you have extra. Here’s how:

Crafting the Gem Sack

You need this skin to stitch a gem bag and a gem tote together. This creates the gem sack. The final gem sack holds up to 60 standard gems and 60 semi-precious gems.

You need level 81 Crafting to make it. You also need a needle, one thread, your gem bag, your gem tote, and the skin. You get 300 Crafting XP for making the upgrade.

Trading Extra Skins to Wyson

You only need one skin for the gem sack upgrade. If you get lucky and pull extras, you can trade them to Wyson the gardener. He gives you five bird nests for every immaculate skin you hand over.

Watch out when trading your regular mole claws and skins. If you have an Immaculate MoleSkin in your inventory, Wyson will try to take it. The game throws a warning first, so just pay attention to your screen.

How to Craft the Gem Sack

You can’t just slap the skin onto a standard gem bag. You have to climb the new upgrade tiers first.

The progression goes: Gem Pouch → Gem Satchel → Gem Tote → Gem Sack.

To build those lower tiers, you need the new crafting materials added in the update. Grab a bolt of canvas and a bolt of cotton. Work your way up to the Gem Tote. Once you have the tote, combine it with your original gem bag and the Immaculate Mole Skin to finish the final sack.

Gem Sack Crafting Requirements

Here is everything you need to craft the Gem Sack from the Immaculate Mole Skin OSRS:
