Astrophel is a Water-type Aniimo built around offense rather than survival. It’s the final stage of the Shelly evolution line that is a Nova-stage attacker whose entire kit revolves around its shell which it uses as both a shield and a weapon. Astrophel is also the French localization of Sherro, si if you run across Sherro elsewhere, it’s the same Aniimo.
What IS Astophel in Aniimo?
Astrophel belongs to the shelly evolution line which has a chain of 3 stages. First Astrid (Shelly), then Astro (Sheldon) and after that Astrophel (Sherro). As a Nova-stage Aniimo, it’s built to deal damage rather than tank hits. It’s design is based on its shell and carries over from its earlier forms while shifting towards a more aggressive role.
What immediately stood out to me about Astrophel is that it isn’t just another Water creature built around defense. Its stats and abilities lean offensive and makes it one of the strongest picks in the Water category.
How to Get Astrophel in Aniimo
Astrophel can’t be caught in the wild. Every confirmed way to add it to your collection starts with catching an Astrid (Shelly), or comes from an egg.
Evolving From Astrid (Shelly)
Astrid (Shelly) spawns in Echoback Landing, in the Breezy Plains region. From there, the evolution runs in two steps, first level up Astrid to 29 to evolve it into Astro (Sheldon), then Level up Astro to 39. That allows you to defeat Omega Sherro world boss and spend a Wave Stone to complete the evolution into Astrophel.
The Omega Sherro Fight
Omega Sherro is a level 40 field boss that also lives in Echoback Landing, but it stays inactive until you complete the Stars and the Knight quest there, which becomes available as you progress through Echoback Landing’s own storyline.
Once it’s unlocked, bring Aniimo that aren’t weak to Water. Grass, Lightening or Ice-types deal bonus damage against it. In the fight itself, Omega Sherro shares the field with an Astrid that shields it and reflects attacks, so take out that Astrid first. The fight can be repeated, and its attempt cost resets weekly if you don’t clear it on the first try.
Hatching a Sherro egg
Astrophel is also available as an egg. Earlyon, you can choose a Sherro Egg as one of a handful of starter picks and hatch it at the Hatchinator to get Astrophel directly, without raising it through the evolution line. Later in game, completing Elite Training missions reward Custom Egg Boxes that include additional Sherro Eggs.
Astrophel Stats and Best Combat Role
Astrophel is classified as a Water DPS Aniimo. Its base stats are:

The highest stat is attack, which lines up with its role as a damage dealer. From my perspective, the most important thing about Astrophel is that it isn’t designed around simply surviving hits, its kit rewards players who actively lean into Water-based mechanics during combat.
Astrophel Ability: Tidal Heart Explained
Astrophel’s main ability is called Tidal Heart. This ability increases its Water damage when certian Water-related conditions are met, such as being in water terrain or interacting with water effects.
Because of this, Astrophel performs best when you can take advantage of environment that support Water abilities. I wouldn’t treat it as a universal damage dealer, its strength comes from building around its element and maximizing that Water synergy.

Is Astrophel Worth Getting?
If you’re looking for a Water-type damage dealer, Astrophel is worth considering. It has multiple strength like high attack stat, water-based damage abilities, strong synergy with Water-related mechanics and multiple forms to collect. Astrophel isn’t a creature you’ll stumble into by chance.
