Laurie Strode in Halloween the Game: Her Traits, Death, the Final Girl

Let’s talk about the Final Girl herself. Laurie Strode is straight-up one of the strongest (and coolest) Civilians you can run in Halloween The Game.
She’s the classic babysitter from the 1978 movie, reimagined for both multiplayer and the single-player story and she feels every bit the survivor she’s supposed to be.
What You’ll Read:
Laurie Strode Stats: Why People Call Her the Best

Laurie currently sits with the highest total attribute points among the characters most people have unlocked:
- Capability 8: Governs melee combat power and how well you throw objects.
- Athleticism 6: Controls how fast you walk and how well you ride bikes.
- Personality 9: Affects how easily you persuade residents, call the police, command followers, and resist Fear and Stalk meters. Laurie’s 9 here is a big reason she feels so good at managing NPCs and keeping pressure off.
- Resourcefulness 7: Helps with repairs, environmental awareness, using vehicles, and handling firearms.
That’s a clean 30 points. Every single stat is 6 or higher, which is something none of the other early unlocks can claim. I’ll compare them on the table below:
| Civilian | Total Points |
| Laurie Strode | 30 |
| Jennifer Aarons | 27 |
| Richard Hawthorne | 27 |
| Marcus Navarro | 26 |
| Alexis Prucess | 25 |
| Tanya Harrison | 25 |
| Eric Dunn | 23 |
| Rachel Calahan | 22 |
That balanced, high floor is exactly why players keep saying she’s potentially the best Civilian in the game right now.
Her Traits in Halloween the Game

She comes with three solid traits that play really well together:
- Spatial Awareness: When you’re calm, every resident within 25 meters gets highlighted. Super useful for spotting NPCs that need warning or escorting without having to run around blindly.
- Knockouts: When you help take Michael down, he stays on the ground 10% longer. That extra window is clutch if your team is trying to arrest him or just buy time to get people out.
- Revenge: Every time a resident or civilian dies within 10 meters of you, your melee damage goes up by 2%. Stacks up to five times. So if things start going sideways near you, Laurie actually gets stronger. Nice little “don’t mess with the Final Girl” energy.
How Laurie Plays
Playing as Laurie feels proactive. You’re not just hiding, you’re the one running around yelling at NPCs to hide, calling the cops, cracking open escape routes and occasionally body-slamming Michael with whatever heavy thing you just found.

You’ll be looting constantly (pipe wrenches, sledgehammers, pocket knives, fire pokers, axe, etc. she can swing all of it). The sledgehammer body-slam moment in particular is pure satisfaction. You’ll also be the one finding phones, bolt cutters, keys, fuses, CB radios, and stamina drinks so the whole team can actually leave.
She’s great at protecting high-value targets and helping multiple people escape in a single match. Just don’t get cocky, Michael still one-shots if you’re not careful.
The Final Girl Fit
Her signature look is the classic Final Girl outfit with that iconic slash on the left arm. You can get it with the Deluxe Edition or unlock it by completing certain challenges (mostly in the single player story). It just feels right when you’re running around as her.
Laurie Strode Death
In multiplayer, Michael can kill Laurie just like any other character. She is sometimes an NPC and might even die first, which is an intentional twist on her Final Girl status.
But in single player, it’s different, because the game mostly follows the movie in the core story. So, there’s no permanent death.

In Chapter 4 (“The Babysitters”) you’re playing as Michael, and Laurie shows up as the big target after you’ve dealt with Annie, Bob and Lynda. You get to recreate those classic movie moments, the phone call, the bodies in the house, the chase, the fight.
When You play as Michael with the objective “Kill Laurie Before She Can Call For Help,” Laurie has unlimited health and cannot be grabbed normally, so the encounter is a chase where you drive her out of hiding spots and keep attacking.
Eventually a cutscene triggers: Loomis arrives, saves her, shoots Michael and the chapter ends. This recreates the 1978 film’s outcome. Laurie survives. You cannot actually finish her off and end the chapter with her death.

Quick Tips If You’re Jumping in as Laurie
There are some Tips helped me while playing the game, I guess they will help you too:
- Stay calm early so Spatial Awareness lights people up.
- Prioritize calling the police and opening escapes.
- Stick near teammates or NPCs when possible so Revenge can stack if someone goes down.
- Don’t be afraid to fight, her stats and Knockouts make her one of the better Civilians for actually contesting Michael.
- Loot aggressively. She feels best when she’s holding something heavy.
Laurie is the well-rounded, high-stat, movie-accurate survivor that just feels good to play. If you’ve got her unlocked, she’s an excellent default pick for multiplayer and she’s a blast in the story mode too. Go save some Haddonfield residents (or die trying in style).
