In Cyberpunk 2077, your Operating System (OS) is the foundational piece of chrome in your entire build. Installed directly into your neural cortex, it acts as the central hub for your cyberware and dictates your fundamental playstyle in Night City.
Because you can only equip one OS at a time, this single piece of cyberware determines how you approach every firefight, stealth mission and boss encounter.

How to Use Operating System Cyberware
Before you can use an Operating System in Cyberpunk 2077, you will need to buy and install one from any Ripperdoc in Night City. After installation, open the Character menu and head to the Cyberware tab. Select the Operating System slot and equip the OS that best matches your preferred playstyle from the three available categories.


For slowing time and hitting enemies with maximum effect, Cyberware of Operating System plays a major role. For instance, Dynalar Sandevistan cyberware makes the fight really easy by slowing time to 50%. You can move and kill everyone in sight with relaxed position.
