Where to Start the Canyon Secret Mission?
Begin by heading to the south-central section of the Far Far West Canyon map. There, you will come across a locked door with empty slots meant for the medallions.

Beside the door lies a dead sheriff holding a wanted note. This note names the three outlaw accomplices whose medallions you must locate: Bobby the Dynamiter, Johnny Hawkeye and Sweaty the Gold Prospector. Including the sheriff’s own, there are four Far Far West medallions altogether.
All 4 Far Far West Canyon Medallions Locations
- Sweaty the Gold Prospector’s Medal (East): Head to the East side of the map and take the zipline down to the lower canyon area beneath the bridge. You will find the prospector’s body, but his medallion is buried. Pick up a shovel and search for dig spots marked by small rocks on top. Avoid digging up bones (fake spots marked by skulls). Pro Tip: The medallion almost always spawns in the far-right dirt pile near the cliff edge.
- Bobby the Dynamiter’s Medal (North): Travel to the Northern point of the canyon to locate a mine shaft under a collapsed bridge. The entrance is sealed by rocks with a faint glowing red/gray hue. Grab nearby dynamite, ignite it and throw it at the rocks. Note: One stick will not do it! It takes around 7 sticks of dynamite to fully clear the path. Once cleared, enter the tunnel to collect Bobby’s medallion.
- Johnny Hawkeye’s Medal (West): Move to the western side of the canyon until you spot a safe labeled “10.” To unlock it, shoot 10 bullseye targets hidden around the area. Look for targets with a glowing blue outline. Check places like atop rock formations, beneath zip lines, behind structures and near minecart tracks.
- Sheriff’s Medal (South-Central): Make this your final stop. Interact with the dead sheriff’s body right next to the locked vault door to obtain the last piece.

Rewards for Unlocking the Canyon Secret
After you collect every Far Far West canyon medallion, return to the locked door and place them into the slots. Once open, you receive valuable loot to accelerate your progress:
Massive Gold Farm: This grants access to a hidden cave with 7 gold veins. (Tip: Use dynamite instead of a pickaxe to destroy the veins quickly for fast gold farm results).
Pick Pick Joker: A strong passive card that provides a 5% chance on hit to spawn damage-heavy pickaxes that tear through enemies. Because this is a flat 5% chance on-hit, it pairs best with rapid-fire or fast-hitting weapons to maximize the proc rate. Stat check: This card takes up two Joker slots and can be upgraded at the shop for 300 Souls.
Secret Elder Pickaxe: A concealed weapon that deals massive damage and melts boss health. The trade-off is that you cannot ride your horse or other mounts while you carry it, though minecarts remain usable for fast travel.
Far Far North Access: Collect the medallions and complete the Canyon secret to unlock the secret mission for the Far Far North region.
Far Far West rewards efficient routes. To prioritize the canyon medallions is one of the best strategies to farm gold and upgrade your loadout early in the game. Canyon medallions are one of the absolute best ways to farm gold and improve your gear at the start!
