Belmont’s Curse Clock Tower Puzzle Solution: How to Reach Talos

Reaching Talos, The Builder, requires you to solve a puzzle in the clock tower. You’ll receive a clue but it is very probable that you don’t understand it and stuck there for a while. In this guide I’m going to solve the puzzle step by step so you can easily pass this part of the game.

Where is Talos?

In order to find Talos you have to solve a puzzle in the eastern part of the clock tower. You’ll probably get there using a shortcut elevator on the left part of the tower.

Step by Step Visual Solution to Clock Tower Puzzle

When you get of the elevator you’ll see a chunky chain hanging from the ceiling. When you pass by that chain you’ll trigger a block that shatters the ground underneath.

Then you should drop down through that hole, go right and break the wall. Here you’ll find a clue about the builder, which basically tells you to use ventilation shaft to reach him.

Now for everything to be easy, I need you to get to this spot on the map. After you went right and passed the platform, step on it again then quickly go to right.

Here you’ll see a fist like statue that smashed what beneath it every time you pass its chain. You need this to smash the ground all the way on the bottom of this part of map.

There are three wooden pillars obstructing the way. You need to put them in a vertical position. Go around the first two and walk past the platform to activate it and rotate the first two pillars.

Continue your way to right and drop down. Go left until you see the second platform. This one you should not cross. Just step on it and then quickly go back to right. Now all of the wooden pillars should be vertical by now.

From where the pillar used to be horizontal drop down. Then platform yourself up and then jump to right. Be careful not to hit the spikes.

While jumping right, you’ll pass the chain which activates the stone fist and smashes the ground. Right where the fist hit the ground you should find a path that leads to the leader, or as he is known The Talos.

I tried to give you the easiest explanation possible to avoid any confusion. If you have any questions, leave a comment below.
