The game is currently going through playtesting and cannot be openly played by the public. However, playtesters can send up to three invite links to their friends and add them to the playtest environment. The Game Loop
You make your character and test your mic, it’s heavily recommended to play this game with a mic, as conversations with AI can be elaborate. After making your character, you leave the break room and step into the call center’s office, where your colleagues are sitting behind computers answering calls.
Sit behind a free PC and wait for a call or find an NPC colleague in a call and slap them away from their PC, hi-jacking the call. Here’s where the main chunk of the game happens.
The game has about 1000 characters with portraits and voices similar to them, which would call you either asking for help, wanting a service done, or many other scenarios. You have to speak to the live AI and try to gain their trust (shown via a trust meter above their portraits) and try to have them buy you a gift card and give up their credit card number.
At the end of the shift, your boss will review your performance and decide whether you get to work another day in the office or you’re terminated. As you progress further into the game, more ways to scam (presented as upgrades that can be bought through Scamzon), scambaiters armed with viruses, and different characters are added to this loop, but the general premise of the game stays the same.

How is AI Used in Scam With Your Friends
This game uses AI to simulate real conversations, with AI being able to respond to what you say and create new scenarios every time. This is similar to how “Where The Winds Meet” has integrated AI into the dialogue system of the game, giving the world a more alive feeling.
However, there’s a catch with this game. It seems that your conversations are connected to an LLM in real time. Meaning a model like Gemini or GPT is sitting on the other side of the calls, listening to your voice and responding in turn. This costs devs money, and they have limited everyone’s call tokens.
That’s why, in the performance review, your boss reminds you to join the Discord server for free tokens, or alternatively, you can go to the game’s website and pay for unlimited token access for an $8 one-time purchase. Devs have claimed on their site that this is going to be a playtest-only feature, and the full game won’t have the purchase or limitation.
