In the hub of the game, there’s a safe up in the attic area that takes a bit of jumping to get to, and people have been asking for the code to this safe: it’s 091387. Where to Find the Secret Room and Safe
In the main hub of the game, before you open the board, there’s an attic with no clear way to reach it. You would have to first move to the fireplace with the nightstands around it, jump on one of them, and then jump on the fireplace.
After jumping on the fireplace, face one of the corner shelves and jump on top of it, then on the trim of the wall so you can walk to the tilted painting.
Move along the trim, jump onto the iron shelf, and face the tilted painting; this is the hardest part of the parkour section. You shouldn’t sprint-jump here. Just position yourself correctly and jump normally until you get it right.
If you get on top of the tilted painting, you can easily jump on the wider trim leading to the attic, allowing you to search the small location and also find the safe.
How to Solve the Safe Code Puzzle
The attic has a writing desk with several notes on it; reading them gives you the first clue to solve the puzzle and gain access to the safe.
The safe needs six digits, and the note talks about children dying on the 13th. You can also find a book labeled as “Class of ’87: A New Beginning,” which points toward the year. The Russian player Brauz reported that the Russian localization of the game gave out the month of September.
I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or a clever Easter egg, but the 13th could be referencing Friday the 13th, and 87 could be a reference to the Bite of 87 from the famous horror franchise, Five Nights at Freddy’s, which begs the question: What is September referencing?
What Happens When You Open the Safe
Inside the safe, you can find a corridor key that opens the door across from the shop, leading to a longer corridor with several closed doors. There’s only one door that is interactable: Henry’s bedroom.
The current location of the key to Henry’s bedroom is unknown, even though a player claimed that they went inside to find an interactable wardrobe, a TV, and a note saying that Henry was killed by an idol. They also provided screenshots of the inside of the room.
