IGTAP Omni-Dash: How to Get It and What Happens After

Many players are struggling with IGTAP Omni Dash and don’t know how to get it. In this guide I’ve tried to dive deep into the game and tell you how to get Omni Dash and whether unlocking it means finishing the game.
In This Guide:
How to Get Omni-Dash in IGTAP
Omni-Dash sits near the very end of your movement upgrades, and you unlock it the same way you unlock everything else in IGTAP: by growing your Upgrade Tree with the currency you earn from running courses.
Based on how the game’s own achievements line up, the general order you’ll move through looks like this:
Refresh Orbs → Teleporter → Zip Movers → Omni-Dash → primary ending/“You win!”

So by the time Omni-Dash shows up, you’ve already picked up most of your other movement tools.
So my honest advice: keep looping your best courses with clones, keep dumping currency into remaining Tree upgrades, and expect to grind more than you think before Omni-Dash actually unlocks. If it feels slow, you’re not doing anything wrong, it’s just a genuine wall this early into release.
What Is Omni-Dash?
Omni-Dash is one of the last movement upgrades you get in IGTAP. The achievement for unlocking it is literally called “All angle igtap,” and its description tells you most of what you need to know: it’s a dash that works in every direction (every “angle”), instead of being locked to set directions like your earlier dash.
Once you have it, you can dash freely wherever you need to, which opens up faster paths through courses you’ve already been running and lets you reach spots that were out of reach before.
When Do You Unlock Omni Dash?
Going off current achievement stats, here’s roughly how many players have reached each step so far:
- Refresh Orbs: 38.9%
- Teleporter: 27.4%
- Zip Movers: 23.3%
- Omni-Dash: 14.9%
- The ending (“You win!”): 14.5%
Only a small slice of players have made it to Omni-Dash, and almost all of them go on to finish the game. So if you’re at the Omni-Dash stage, you’re genuinely near the end of the run, not just partway through.

Also Double Jump gets handed back to you again somewhere after this point, and there’s a separate achievement further down the line tied to escaping the facility, so there’s more game after Omni Dash than you might expect.
What to Do After Getting Omni-Dash
Once Omni-Dash is in your kit, a few things happen. Players who’ve reached it report gaining access to the endgame and its credits, and a new red currency shows up around this same stage. From what I’ve seen, that currency becomes your next thing to chase, since people are actively looking for ways to keep progressing with it once it appears.

Be ready for a difficulty spike too. Movement feels noticeably harder to control right after unlocking Omni-Dash. A Steam review echoed the same thing, saying the late “omni” upgrade changed the feel of the game more than they expected. I’d treat this as a normal adjustment period rather than a sign you’re doing something wrong. Give yourself a few runs to get used to the new dash before judging it.
Directional Dash vs. Omni-Dash
This is worth clearing up because it’s an easy mix-up: Directional Dash and Omni-Dash are two completely separate upgrades.
Directional Dash comes much earlier and only lets you dash in set directions. Getting it also removes your Double Jump at that point in the run, and there’s a known softlock some players hit right after picking it up (the developer already patched at least one version of this bug). Omni-Dash, on the other hand, shows up much later, works in every direction, and has nothing to do with that earlier upgrade.

So if you’re looking up how to get Omni-Dash, don’t follow steps meant for Directional Dash. They sit at completely different points in progression and behave differently.
Does Omni-Dash Unlock the Ending?
Not exactly on its own, but it’s tightly linked to it. I wouldn’t say Omni-Dash automatically triggers the ending, but the numbers make it clear it’s your gateway to it: with 14.9% of players reaching Omni-Dash and 14.5% finishing the game, almost everyone who gets Omni-Dash goes on to reach the “You win!” milestone.
So think of it less as “the ending unlock” and more as “the ability that lets you reach the part of the game where the ending happens.” If you’re aiming to finish IGTAP, getting Omni Dash means you’re basically there. For reference, the developer has mentioned a normal full playthrough runs around seven hours, so if you’ve put in that kind of time already, you’re right on schedule.
