Moonlighter 2 Weapon Mastery Quest Guide: Bug, Anacard’s Location, and Reward

One part of Moonlighter 2 Weapon Mastery Quest is finding Anancard but there’s a good chance that you don’t find it at all even if you do everything correctly. If you want to why that’s the case and where you can find Anacard and what you’ll get if you manage to finish the quest successfully we have you covered.

Moonlighter 2 Weapon Mastery Quest Bug

Right now, Weapon Mastery is partly broken. Many players get the objective “Find Anacard in Tresna,” but Anacard simply never spawns. Developer’s tech support team has confirmed this is a bug, and the team is already working on it.

There are a few things you can do: restarting the game, reinstalling it, checking during both day and night, and even defeating a different boss first. None of these are guaranteed to work. If your quest marker points to an empty spot with no NPC around, you’re most likely hitting this bug rather than missing something obvious. Your best move for now is to keep checking for patch notes, since 11 bit already knows about the problem.

Anacard Location

To receive the quest first you have to pay a visit to Nou.

If the bug isn’t blocking you, Anacard is normally found toward the southern to southeastern edge of Tresna, the spot where you started the game.

How to Defeat a Boss with a Broom

Once you track down Anacard, you’ll get to the real challenge: defeating a boss using the Old Broom. If you do this successfully you’ll get the achievement Humble Hero. Only around 23% of players currently have this achievement unlocked, so don’t feel bad if it takes a couple of tries.

You don’t need to fight one specific boss. But in my opinion The Herald is the easiest pick. What makes this easy is that you don’t have to kill the boss using only the broom. Only the final blow must come from broom. So you can wear Herald down with your gun then for the last hit use thr broom.

Nou’s Gift

After you finished the game go to Nou and Anacard to receive the recipe for Nou’s Gift, an armor set tied to Nou’s shop. To craft this armor you need one Quantum Core, which you should have from the final boss in the Gallery Exhibition wing.

This armor adds additional quality point for each room you successfully complete without taking any damage and with every armor upgrade this amount increases.

Did you craft the armor without any trouble? Let me know in the comments below.
