Star Wars Zero Company Nebulous Pursuit: Which Planet Is Correct

Star Wars Zero Company Nebulous Pursuit is a side mission that tells you to pick the right planet to find Kin Delima. The tricky part is that the correct planet is random each time. But the briefing text gives a clue about which planet is correct before you even choose. No single planet works for everyone, but there is one right answer for your save, and you can spot it without reloading a single time. Learn how below.
What You’ll Read:
What Is the Nebulous Pursuit Side Mission
Nebulous Pursuit is an optional Operation you launch from the Holotable in the Den. Republic Intelligence agent Kin Delima went dark while infiltrating Separatist Intelligence, and she took an encrypted Republic data drive with her. Her handlers think she might have turned. Zero Company gets sent to track her down.
It costs 50 Intel to launch and needs three operators assigned. It also only lasts for 3 turns before it expires. So don’t sit on it while you’re off running tactical missions. There’s a 30% chance the search fails early. Unfortunately, if you skip it entirely, you will never see the follow-up operation, Nebulous Pursuit II, which is honestly the more interesting half of this whole thing.

How to Find Kin Delima in Nebulous Pursuit I
Nebulous Pursuit rolls one of three versions when you launch it, and each version’s briefing has a tell. This is reasoning pulled from the datamined build data, not something the game states outright, but it lines up.
| Briefing detail | Correct planet |
|---|---|
| Ship built for dodging asteroids (no freighter or manifest mentioned) | Bothawui |
| Delima was flying a Nella 342 light freighter | Sullust |
| She had a forged prospector manifest | Mon Gazza |
Read the briefing before you commit. If it doesn’t call out a freighter or a manifest, go Bothawui by elimination.

Pro-Tip: Always save before opening the Holotable and trying a planet. If Delima isn’t there, reload and try the next one. There are only three planets, so you’re guaranteed to land it by the third attempt.
Nebulous Pursuit Part I Rewards
You get +3 Zone Besh Influence no matter which planet you pick. But you can also receive 1,000 credits if you actually find Delima, which means finding the correct planet. However, finding her matters more than the Credits. It’s the only thing that unlocks Nebulous Pursuit II.

How to Intercept Delima in Nebulous Pursuit II
The job changes in part 2. Intelligence doesn’t want Delima found anymore; they want her stopped before she hands the drive to her Coil contacts. This one also has three versions, and which one you get depends on where you found her in Part I.
| You found her on… | Correct Part II planet |
|---|---|
| Bothawui | Koboh |
| Sullust | Saleucami |
| Mon Gazza | Rishi |
If you move according to this mapping, you already know your answer walking in. No reloading needed. And every successful version ends the same way. The team gets the drive back, the Coil handlers escape, and Delima dies in the crossfire. There’s no ending where she survives.
Warning: Two of the wrong answers in Part II may injure an operator: Lotho Minor (if your version offers Nevarro/Koboh/Lotho Minor) and Hypori (if it’s Rishi/Hypori/Tatooine). Note that three injuries kill an operator if permadeath is on, which it is by default. So don’t send someone with two injuries anywhere near these planets while you’re testing options.
Nebulous Pursuit Part II Rewards
Getting Part 2 right pays a Supernova Capacitor, 1,500 Credits, and +3 Zone Herf Influence.
The Supernova Capacitor is the real prize. It’s a Rank IV Power Cell mod, +6 Blaster Damage on the first turn of combat, and it costs 3,250 Credits at unupgraded shop price. Add that to the 1,500 Credits payout, and picking correctly is worth close to 4,750 Credits! Not bad, huh?
Warning: “Capacitor” also refers to a separate upgrade currency spent at the Facilities tab, and this isn’t that. The reward is a weapon mod, not the resource. Mixing the two up is an easy mistake.

FAQ
How much Intel does Nebulous Pursuit cost?
50 Intel per part, 100 total if you run both. Scout with the PICO-5 electroscope during free-roam phases in tactical missions to build up Intel faster.
Is the Supernova Capacitor the same as the Capacitor resource?
No. The resource is a separate upgrade currency for the Facilities tab. The Nebulous Pursuit II reward is a Power Cells weapon mod that shares the name.
Can I save Kin Delima?
No. She dies in every version that ends in success. There’s no ending where she survives or gets captured.
