Nolan North voices Deadpool in the English version of Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. He’s returning to a character he’s voiced numerous times in previous Marvel games and animated projects.
If you’re someone like me, who’s been playing video games from childhood straight into adulthood, you’re probably familiar with Nolan North’s other works. If not, let’s take a look at what you might know him for.

Nolan North Voices Deadpool in Marvel Tokon
Nolan North is that familiar voice behind Deadpool in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. He’s picking up pretty much from where he left off to once again voice Wade Wilson. So what does this “once again” mean? It literally means that. This is far from the first time Nolan North has provided the voice for the Merc with a Mouth.

His most notable previous Deadpool performance was back in 2013 in the literal Deadpool game. Given his solid performances and experience, I can see why folks at Arc System Works let Nolan North reprise his role. And, for the record, he did a lot of other Wade “Deadpool” Wilson roles.
Every Major Nolan North Deadpool Role
For Nolan North and Wade Wilson, everything started back in 2009 when North voiced the character in the Hulk Vs. animated movie. Since then, Nolan North has been delivering awesome Deadpool performances. One of his earlier appearances came in Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions in 2010, then delivered another good performance in Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds.

His most recognizable Deadpool performance, though, is probably the Deadpool game, where North voiced Wade Wilson throughout his own standalone adventure. He later returned to the role in games including Marvel Heroes, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, Stern Pinball: Deadpool, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, and Marvel’s Midnight Suns.
So, if Deadpool right off the bat sounded familiar in Marvel Tokon, chances are you’ve already heard Nolan North’s voice on the Merc with a Mouth in one of those games or maybe as one of the many other characters he’s played.
Where Else Have You Heard Nolan North?
Nolan North is a man of many talents and voice acting is obviously one of the biggest. He’s a prolific voice actor who’s been delivering over-the-top voice performances for decades. Perhaps the character you know him best as is Nathan Drake in the Uncharted franchise.
He actually made a cameo appearance in the movie Uncharted, which I’m not a fan of, by the way, but seeing him there warmed my heart.
He voiced David in The Last of Us, Desmond Miles in several Assassin’s Creed games, Ghost in Destiny, and Penguin in Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham.

Who Is Deadpool’s Japanese Voice Actor in Marvel Tokon?
The Japanese voice of Deadpool in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is Takehito Koyasu and just like Nolan North, this isn’t his first time voicing the Merc with a Mouth.

Koyasu previously voiced Deadpool in the Japanese Marvel anime Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers and later returned to the role in Marvel Future Avengers. He also voiced Nicepool in the Japanese dub of Deadpool & Wolverine.
Outside of Marvel, though, Koyasu has worked on a lot of anime projects. But many fans will probably recognize him immediately as the voice of DIO from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. So Marvel Tokon brings back familiar Deadpool voices for both its English and Japanese casts.
