Deltarune Chapter 5 Fox: Locations Guide

If you want to uncover every secret the game has to offer, you will need a reliable Deltarune Chapter 5 Fox: Locations Guide. Shortly after you complete your initial boss battle against Green, you will arrive at a diner and meet a character named Aqua. Aqua tells you that you need to round up three foxes to progress past them.

Quick Answer: To open the locked door behind Aqua in the Diner, you must find all 5 hidden foxes, not just the 3 required to advance the main story. Doing so rewards you with a Pink Coin used toward the Mystery Key.

However, eagle-eyed players will notice a locked door directly behind Aqua. To open this mysterious secret door, three foxes will not cut it. You have to track down all five. While the first few are easy to spot, the final two are incredibly well hidden. Here is exactly where to find them all.

All 5 Fox Locations in Deltarune Chapter 5

Here are the exact locations of all 5 foxes you can find in Deltarune.

Fox Location 1: The Paper Wall Decoy

You can find the very first fox just to the right of where Aqua is standing. In this area, you will see paper screens and enemies moving in an up-and-down pattern that you normally have to dodge.

Make your way through the initial set of paws and then pay close attention to the longer chain that follows. While it may look impossible to get through, one of the paw shapes in the chain is not a projectile at all. It is the fox in disguise. Press X or A to grab it and bring it back to Aqua.

Fox Location 2: The Statue Room Runner

This is the easiest fox to locate. Head into the main room filled with statues. The second fox is wandering right in the middle of the room. All you have to do is chase it around for a moment until you get close enough to catch it.

Note: The fox runs away and leads you into active Terakota (the enemies) hidden among the fakes, which you have to face before eventually catching it.

Fox Location 3: The Falling Statue

While you are still in the large statue room, navigate to the bottom right corner. Look for the statue that is positioned second from the far right edge. Position your character directly behind this specific statue and press X or A to push it off the ledge. As soon as it drops over the edge, it will magically transform into your third fox.

Fox Location 4: The Jumping Shadows

From the main statue room, walk into the connected side room in the upper right corner. Inside, you will notice a group of rocks jumping around behind a paper wall. Go behind the paper screen and grab the bouncing rocks one by one until you catch the fox.

Fox Location 5: The Secret Room

The final fox requires you to unlock a hidden area. Head over to the upper left section of the main statue room. You will notice a statue blocking your way. Push the statue aside to reveal a secret room. Walk inside and interact with the paper screen in the back to open up the path.

Inside the secret room, the scene involves Yellow who is caught in an embarrassing moment and then transforms into a fox. That is the final fox.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Fox: Why Open the Five Fox Door?

If you are wondering if it is worth the effort to find the extra foxes, the answer is yes. Once you have all five, simply interact with the locked door behind Aqua and it will automatically open. Inside the room, you will find a fox that magically transforms into a treasure chest.

Opening this chest rewards you with a Pink Coin. Pink coins are a crucial currency needed to purchase the Mystery Key (with 10 coins in total). These are the exact items required to unlock the highly anticipated Chapter 5 secret boss fight.
