Far Far West Sniper Build Guide

It can get challenging when you want to choose your desired loadout in Far Far West. That’s especially true when you want to choose the appropriate ranged arsenal. About time we flipped the script and brought out the big guns.

In this Far Far West Sniper Build guide, I introduce two incredibly powerful, highly mobile marksman setups that will completely change how you play the game.

The Leveredge Sniper Build

This build sacrifices defense to turn you into a pure glass cannon that’s capable of dropping 500 damage in a single headshot. How awesome is that? First things first.

For the Jokers: Equip Glass Cannon (gives you +40% weapon and melee damage at the cost of -25% HP), Swift Shot to have more fire rate when aiming (or Relentless to deal more damage on low HP), Speedster and Speedy Gunzales for your speed, and Second Wind to heal you for 50 HP when fatally shot.

Far Far West Sniper Build (4)

It’s also super duper important to equip Eagle Lever. This makes consecutive shots without missing grant +5% damage, and stack all the way up to +50%. It resets on any missed shot, though. Don’t forget to consider Stacked Lever as well. What it does is it instantly reloads 2 bullets from your reserve ammo on any kill. Saves a ton of time.

For the Spells: Equip Thunderstrike to go up into the air, then crash back down to explode and strike your enemies with lightning. Rain calls down an acidic rain in a wide area. Use these as your instant press and wipe buttons for hordes. Also, make sure to equip Corruption to make the enemies fight for you.

Bring the upgraded Sheriff Star for draw speed and pickup range. Pair it with Jump Star and Running Guns to speed-hack across the map faster than a horse.

Far Far West Sniper Build (3)

As far as upgrades are concerned, you want to divide your initial upgrade points between two main stats: 40% of them to boost your raw damage and the remaining 60% to speed up your fire rate. As you play and unlock more upgrade slots, you should funnel every single new point directly into the fire rate stat until it can’t go any higher.

Once your fire rate is completely capped out, spend your final two remaining upgrade points on speed to complete the build. Before we continue, make sure to check out our Far Far West Purple Rock Locations to find the answer to the Area 41 secret mission in the game.

The Long Ranger Sniper Build

The Long Ranger effortlessly one-shots standard Grunts. Since the bullets over-penetrate, you can score collateral kills on up to three enemies at once if you line up the horde. It heavily rewards a skilled hand, which feels good, to be honest. It lets you quickly melt bosses and elites like Liches.

The biggest reason to equip this bad boy, though, is its insane synergy. With this, you want to hit the weak points to trigger fiery AOE explosions. Getting kills constantly shaves off your spell cooldowns so you can spam heavy magic, which is really helpful.

Far Far West Sniper Build (2)

Again, let’s start with the Jokers: Equip West Wizard (gets you -30% spell cooldown, but at the cost of -30% HP), Battlemage (kills reduce all ongoing spell cooldowns by 1%). Combine it with Second Wind to stay alive and Speedy Gunzalez to move faster. Focus Shot shaves 1 second off spell cooldowns with every kill.

Pair it with Mind Shot, which turns weak-point hits into fiery AOE explosions to clear crowds and loop your spells instantly.
Remember, max out your spell cooldown reduction first, then focus on ammo or health.

Jason Jenkins

Jason’s journey of countless memorable video game stories began when he was only 8 years old. Most of the time, he would play Mortal Kombat 4 on his PC after school. When night fell, it was time for the original Resident Evil 3 to scare the living daylights out of him. But he wouldn’t trade those good old days for anything. Jason is a minimalist at heart and that translates into his guide writing as well. He likes to break down gameplay mechanics into simpler parts so that the audience can find what they’re looking for in no time.
