Aniimo Prismana Orb: How to Use It and Where to Get It

Updated for Season 1 Part One
A Prismana Orb turns one of your Aniimo into its Prismana variant without changing anything else about that creature. You might get stuck before you ever use one, because the item has no Use button in the inventory. Read the short version of the article here:
- You apply the Orb from the Aniimo’s own menu under Change Form, not from your bag.
- You must already have that Prismana Form unlocked, and the creature has to be native to Breezy Plains.
- It costs 900 Windborn Stamps in the Stamp Shop, and the slot stays locked until you have spent 7000.
- Sparkling and Alpha both survive the swap, which is how you build the rarest version of a creature on purpose.
What You’ll Read:
What the Prismana Orb Does in Aniimo
The item sits under the Change Form category, and its description reads: “Can be used on an Aniimo with unlocked Prismana Form in Breezy Plains to toggle it into its Prismana variant. Keeps the Aniimo’s Innate Potentials, traits, and personality.”
That word toggle is the important one. Your creature is not replaced or re-rolled. A perfect Aniimo stays perfect after the swap, which makes the Orb an upgrade tool rather than a lottery ticket.
The second half of the description explains the odd location wording: “An orb containing the Prismana Energy of Breezy Plains. Only Aniimo native to Breezy Plains can absorb the shared energy within.”

Breezy Plains is the main map, not one small spot. It covers fourteen areas, from Nimbus Fields all the way out to Tideblossom Coast, so the restriction is far looser than it first sounds. The one case I would check yourself is Whisperwake Isles, since sources disagree on whether it counts as part of Breezy Plains or sits outside it. That matters if your target is Glameep.
How to Use the Prismana Orb (There Is No Use Button)
Plenty of players have hunted through the inventory for a Use button that does not exist. One said he spent half an hour on it. The Orb is applied from the creature, not from the item.
- Open your Aniimo list and select the one you want to change.
- Go to the third tab at the top of its panel, the one marked with “!”.
- Choose Change Form.
- Pick Prismana from the dropdown, then hit Confirm.
The confirmation screen puts Basic Form on the left, the Orb in the middle and the Prismana result on the right, so you can see the cost before you commit.

Prismana Orb Requirements
You need that species’ Prismana Form unlocked already. The game will not let you change an Aniimo into a form you have never obtained. The Orb applies a form you have earned, it does not discover a new one for you.
One question still has no clear answer. Nobody has confirmed whether a Prismana handed to you by the Prismana Promise counts as unlocking that form, or whether the game wants you to catch one in the overworld. Until someone tests it, I would not spend an Orb on the assumption that the event pick counts.
How to Get the Prismana Orb in Aniimo
The Orb lives in the Season tab of the Stamp Shop and costs 900 Windborn Stamps. Its slot stays locked until you have spent 7000 Windborn Stamps in that shop, so the real price is the grind that comes before it. Here is how it sits against the other Season tab slots:
| Item | Unlocks after spending | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Sparkling Egg | 300 | 200 |
| Sparkling Cube | 2,500 | 500 |
| Flameplated Dragon Shield | 3,500 | 600 |
| Capafruit | 6,000 | 300 |
| Prismana Orb | 7,000 | 900 |
| Phenomena Crystal ×2 | 11,500 | 1,500 |
The battle pass alone will not get you there. Windborn Stamps come from daily activities and season achievements too, so treat the Orb as a season-long goal rather than something you pick up in week one.
The shop is awkward to reach, and the menus deserve the criticism they get. The reliable route runs through your inventory. So, open any item and select How to Obtain, and the link drops you straight into the Stamp Shop.
There is a paid shortcut as well. The Season Keepsakes bundle costs 2980, is limited to one purchase, and includes a Prismana Orb along with two Sparkling Cubes.
How to Make a Sparkling Alpha Prismana Aniimo
This is the part that makes the Orb worth saving for. Because it preserves everything, you can stack the rare traits in whatever order you like instead of waiting for all of them to land at once.
Catch an Alpha using a Sparkling Cube, then use the Orb on it. The Cube guarantees both the Sparkling trait and perfect potential, the Alpha status is already there, and the Orb adds the Prismana form on top. A player who ran this in the global beta kept the Sparkling and Alpha status along with perfect potential through the swap.

If you already have a perfect Aniimo you like, a Sparkling Sigil is the cheaper path. You earn one each time you catch and report a Sparkling, and ten of them will turn any Aniimo Sparkling.
Does the Prismana Orb Remove the Umbral Appearance?
I have seen this asked three separate times with no answer, so here is what the game itself tells you.
Evolve an Umbral Aniimo and you get a warning first: “After evolution, the Vein energy surrounding your Aniimo will dissipate and its Umbral appearance will vanish.”

That notice is specifically about evolution. A Prismana Orb is a form change, the Change Form screen carries no warning like it, and the Orb’s own text promises to keep traits intact. Those two things pull in opposite directions, and I have not found one confirmed case either way.
So my advice is simple until someone tests it properly. Don’t spend your first Orb on an Umbral. A 7000 stamp grind is too much to gamble on a dark coat.
